Lesson 44.4 · Interview Method and Simulation
Final Weeks: Revision Plan and Mock Interviews
In the last 2–3 weeks, stop learning new patterns: re-solve your log, do two timed mocks a week out loud, and review each one with a short rubric.

Think of it like this
Athletes taper before a race: the training gets lighter and more specific, focused on rehearsal rather than building new strength.
1.Plan and rubric
Weeks before: finish the Core 100; re-solve every logged miss. Each mock: 45 minutes, three problems from a set below, talking out loud (record yourself or ask a friend to play interviewer). After each mock, score 1–4 on: understood the problem, found an optimal approach, code correctness, testing, communication. Write one improvement for next time.
Day before: light review of pattern templates (the Pattern Finder pages), sleep. On the day: use the seven steps even for problems you recognise.
Remember
- Rehearse, don't cram.
- Score every mock.
- Same method every time.
Common mistakes
- Only solving silently at a desk, never out loud with a clock.
